Celebrating our more than 50-year history as an institution providing exceptional nursing education in Northeast Ohio, Kent State University College of Nursing is one of the largest and most comprehensive nursing programs in the nation with more than 12,000 alumni worldwide. As part of Kent State’s eight-campus system, the college provides more than 2,000 nursing students courses of study at the baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels.
With small class sizes, access to expert faculty, clinical experiences at over 350 leading healthcare organizations, and state-of-the-art simulation labs, students gain valuable experience online, in the classroom, and in their future practice settings. Students are also encouraged to participate in study-abroad opportunities.
We have educated 40% of the nurses in Northeastern Ohio. Our 2019 average NCLEX-RN Pass Rate is 94.57%, and Kent State College of Nursing graduates enjoy a 99.6% job placement rate within six months of graduation.
