InnoCare Urologics is a privately held medical device company headquartered in Miami, FL. The Company is developing a suite of proprietary indwelling urinary safety catheters focused on improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs. InnoCare's FDA-cleared Egress Safety Catheter, is a safety Foley catheter that automatically deflates if inadvertently pulled out with the balloon inflated, avoiding potential urologic injury and the costs associated to treat those injuries. InnoCare’s proprietary deflation technology is protected by patents issued globally. The Egress Safety Catheter was the first device to be granted FDA clearance under a new FDA code for Foley Catheters and Accessories with Additional Safety Features, making it the first safety Foley catheter available in the US.
