Nicole Zhang, PhD, RN, FAUNA

President Elect

 

Dr. Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at San José State University and earned both her RN and PhD in Nursing from Binghamton University.

Dr. Zhang brings extensive leadership and volunteer experience to her new role, having previously served SUNA as a Director-at-Large, journal reviewer, volunteer, and author. She is also actively involved with the American Nurses Association (ANA) and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

As a newly elected leader, Dr. Zhang is committed to advancing SUNA’s mission through a focus on member empowerment, innovation, community building, and long-term sustainability. Her goals include enhancing professional development opportunities, expanding mentorship programs, and providing robust resources to support the ongoing advancement of urologic nursing.

Lisa S. Pair, DNP, WHNP-BC, CRNP

Treasurer

 

Dr. Pair is affiliated with the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing and holds a BSN (1983), MSN – Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (1992), and DNP (2018).

Dr. Pair brings a wealth of experience and dedication to SUNA and the nursing profession. Her involvement includes serving on the SUNA Conference Planning Committee (2023–2024), as Secretary of the FAUNA Committee (2023–present), and as a member of SUNA's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force. She has authored and co-authored three chapters in the upcoming Core Curriculum in Adult Urology (currently under review). Additionally, she has long-standing memberships in the National Organization of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners and the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama.

With many years of SUNA conference attendance and active participation, Dr. Pair is deeply committed to the organization’s growth and success. As a Director-at-Large, she is focused on strengthening collaboration between the SUNA Board of Directors and the National Office, with an emphasis on supporting SUNA Chapters. Her goal is to advocate for the interests of Chapter Presidents and members by enhancing communication, providing guidance, and promoting engagement at all levels.

Teresa Davis, MA-HUSC, BSN, RN, PHNA-BC, AMB-BC

Director-At-Large

 

Ms. Davis is a respected nursing professional at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in the field of urology. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

With a strong foundation in both clinical practice and organizational leadership, Ms. Davis has contributed to numerous professional associations, including the Texas Nurses Association (TNA), American Nurses Association (ANA), American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN), and SUNA, where she has served in leadership as a chapter board member.

As a SUNA Board member, Ms. Davis is dedicated to advocating for high standards of nursing practice, promoting patient safety, and upholding ethical conduct within the profession. Her goals also include contributing to policy development that enhances healthcare access and quality, and supporting ongoing education to strengthen the nursing workforce. She is committed to being a strong voice for both nurses and patients while advancing professional excellence in urologic nursing.
