The SUNA Foundation is offering two scholarships for the 2026 Urologic Conference, which will take place October 22–25 in Las Vegas, NV / Paris Hotel. Each scholarship provides reimbursement of up to $1,500 for conference registration, travel, hotel, and meals. Expenses will be reimbursed after submission of receipts, and unused funds cannot be transferred. Recipients attending virtually will only be reimbursed for the registration fee.

Eligibility and Application Instructions

Applicants must be current members of SUNA in good standing and meet the specific criteria for the scholarship selected. Applications must be submitted electronically by the deadline. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Recipients will be notified via email and must confirm acceptance within the specified timeframe.

Available Scholarship Types

There are two types of scholarships available:

Novice Scholarship

• Membership must be current and active for the immediate past 12–23 months.
• Currently employed in urologic healthcare.
• Program content must relate to area of employment.
• Applicant must provide a completed application form prior to the stated deadline.

2 Year + Membership Scholarship

• Membership must be current and active for the immediate past two years.
• Currently employed in urologic healthcare.
• Program content must relate to area of employment.
• Applicant must provide a completed application form prior to the stated deadline.

Selection Process

1. Application must be received in the SUNA national office by June 1st.
2. The SUNA Foundation Board of Trustees is responsible for the evaluation of all eligible requests for funding or awards. The selection process is conducted through a blinded review to ensure impartiality and fairness. During this process, each request is carefully assessed based on the qualifications presented by the applicants.
3. If the Board determines that multiple applicants possess equal qualifications, additional documentation may be required from those applicants. This step is taken to facilitate a thorough comparison and to assist the Board in making a final, informed selection.
4. Applicants will be notified of their status in a timely manner.

Recipient's Responsibility

1. Recipient must attend all educational presentations indicated on the registration form.
2. Recipient must write a letter to the SUNA Foundation c/o the National Office describing the experience and its impact on their career, granting permission to publish the letter.
3. Recipient must visit the Foundation booth during the exhibits for a photograph with a Trustee.
4. Recipient must submit the authorized SUNA travel voucher form with receipts within 30 days of the meeting attended.
5. Recipients cannot reapply for 3 full years.
6. Scholarship is intended for the scheduled event and is not valid for another event.
