FOUNDATION

Since 2007, the mission of the SUNA Foundation is to improve urologic health care and the lives of people with urologic health issues through funding of urologic scholarships, educational programs, and nursing research.

OUR PURPOSE

The SUNA Foundation offers ongoing opportunities for members by funding urologic nursing research, scholarships, and educational programs. Gifts from donors help urologic nurses and associates research their ideas, further their nursing education, and seek specialized training. Patients ultimately benefit from their expanded knowledge and expertise.

BACKING SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year, the Foundation raises money to provide annual scholarships to SUNA members. Scholarships cover conference registration costs and help fund certifications, baccalaureate, and advanced nursing degrees. To support ongoing clinical research in the field of Urology, we also back a scholarship specifically for nurse researchers. We welcome all SUNA members to explore scholarship opportunities.

EMPOWERING CHAPTERS

Local SUNA chapters are critical to our organization and member success. The Foundation provides Enhancement Scholarships to promote chapter educational activities and community programs that uphold the missions of SUNA. For new chapters, we offer Start-Up Chapter Funds. This scholarship promotes the growth and development of a new chapter in accordance with the bi-laws of SUNA and the SUNA Foundation.
